11-11-11 Droid Razr, Followup

As you may have read earlier, the much anticipated Droid Razr was officially released today. Android fans and up-graders have been swarming this new monster. Lets see what your local electron has to say about it.

This thing is well, a beast. Yes, a beast. As I was cruising along its circuits, I noticed how nice of a processor it is. With a 1200 MHz dual core TI OMAP processor, this thing can pack a punch. Did I mention that the processor is splash proof? It, also is very battery friendly. It can operate up to 12.5 talk time hours, pretty good considering how powerful it is. Now the display. It has a beautiful 4.30 inch Super AMOLED display. Bigger and by the reviews, better than any of the iPhone series.

As you can see in the above picture, it's thin, very thin. 7.1 mm to be exact. Thinner than pretty much any smartphone in this category. That is of course, if you're not measuring the "head" of it, which is quite thicker. Also, as you can see, it has a cool looking back to it. That my friend, is Kevlar. Yes, Kevlar. The same material used in bullet-proof vests. This not only makes it look cool, but also add weight reduction to keep it light.

So with the combination of power, display, and Ice Cream Sandwich coming our way, could the wave of iPhone killing Android devices be coming? We'll just wait and see...
